Santhosh George Jacob is a highly accomplished media professional with postgraduate degrees in Mass Communication & Journalism and Language & Literature. He began his career with Malayala Manorama Company Ltd in 1992 as a Journalist Trainee and soon became a digital pioneer, playing a key role in launching the group’s first website, www.malayalamanorama.com, in 1997.

Currently serving as the Coordinating Editor of Manorama Online, Santhosh leads a dynamic team of editors, producers, and designers. A seasoned new-media content strategist, he has been instrumental in multiple CMS migrations—including Open Market, Broad Vision, and Adobe AEM—and has led several major mobile and digital initiatives, including the organization’s first tablet app designed by Dr. Mario Garcia. He is also a recognized expert in integrating AI technologies within newsroom operations. 

Santhosh is also a prominent automobile journalist, widely recognized as the first motoring columnist in Malayalam. His long-running column, FASTTRACK, is considered the most influential in its genre. He has authored two books on automobiles and travel, and is a frequent speaker at international media forums, including WAN-IFRA.
